Effective July 1st, there will be a transition in the collection of certain taxes paid to Davidson County. This is a result of a change by the metro council, which designates the Metro Finance Department as “collector” for these taxes. Our office is working to ensure that this transition is as smooth and efficient as possible for the citizens and business owners affected by the change. Click HERE for more info.
Please be aware that this transition will take place July 1, 2012 for the following local taxes:
Hotel Occupancy Taxes due monthly
Rental Vehicle Surcharge due monthly
Contracted Vehicle Tax due monthly
Wholesale Beer Tax due monthly
Wholesale Liquor Tax due monthly
Liquor by the Drink Tax due yearly upon renewal
Franchise Fees
