Davidson County Clerk’s office seeks new operating system; Metro RFP released today.

February 6, 2012 – County Clerk John Arriola, with assistance from Metro Purchasing, has just released a request for proposal (RFP) from potential bidders to assist him in expanding internet services, and enhancing operational, administrative, and financial duties of the office.

Arriola said, “I am excited for this opportunity to increase services to my customers and constituents of Davidson County.  This change will enable our office to be more efficient in all areas of operation, while saving taxpayers time and money.”

The RFP is for a more modern, web based software system which will allow the County Clerk’s office to improve functionality and offer more online options to families and businesses.

“I appreciate Metro Nashville officials for working with me on the acquisition of this new system which will benefit all areas of Nashville-Davidson County.”

The Davidson County Clerk’s office offers a variety of services, including motor vehicles, business licenses, marriage licenses, hotel tax collection, notary registration, driver’s license renewals, passports and liquor by the drink licenses.
